Guinea Pig
If you follow me on Instagram I'm sure you'll have noticed that my little Sheldon turned 2 on Thursday the 28th. The day had me feeling like a proud mother but also like I was getting old because my little ball of fluff is growing up *sobs*. Sheldon's day consisted of treats, treats and some more treats with some naps in between. I took a few little snaps of the morning while it was bright and decided to share them with you. Of course eventually Aurora interrupted and wanted to pose for some photos too.

As I mentioned the day was full of treats and to be honest I'm not sure how Sheldon didn't explode :')
It's crazy to think that he is already two and it's almost like he's growing up way too fast and he needs to calm down and stay this age now forever. Although 90% of the time he has the biggest attitude ever and insists on peeing on me every now and then, Sheldon never fails to put a smile on my face and I absolutely adore him!
Of course when you have two animals, when one sees you spending time with the other especially taking photos the other has to butt in. So enjoy these two photos of Aurora that turned out to be the cutest two pictures I've took of her recently. The last photo makes me laugh as Sheldon is just eating his treats from the bag and Aurora just decided to plomp her bum down in front of the camera, so I had to take a photo of her as she gave me no choice really.

As Sheldon is a Guinea Pig (although he is my child) I didn't go crazy with gifts as we had bought lots of his favourite fruits and vegetables for him to binge on for the day. However I did buy him a few little gifts to "open" on the day. The first thing I picked up was a bag of Dandelion Delight which he absolutely adores and Aurora is quite fond of it too. It's full of goodness and herbs etc and it's not something I get often as the pet store doesn't have it but it's one of his faves. I also picked up a bag of Carrot Nibblots which look like little pieces of Cereal with a puree of carrot inside, it doesn't look appealing in anyway really. He did like it and eats them but after one he gets enough and just looks for something else. I also picked up a 1kg bag of Supa Guinea Pig Mix which I don't know why but I call Guinea Pig Lucky Charms. Again don't ask why but it's just what I call it. I've been wanting to get this for ages to let Sheldon have a try and was going to spend €11 on a big bag but now i'm so glad I didn't. I have a very fussy Guinea Pig (I'm talking won't even eat Strawberries fussy) and he did not take to this at all, infact he turned his nose up to it straight away. Finally I picked him up another Salt Lick as his old one is almost gone and a Hanging Treat Ball with a bell attached to it. You put treats inside this and it's basically supposed to be fun but Sheldon get's so annoyed at it because he actually has to stretch to reach it, it's quite funny really! If any small pet owners are interested I ordered all his treats from Petstop online and it was delivered within 2 days!
