Too Faced Mascara Review
Better Than Sex Mascara Review

When it comes to certain beauty products such as mascaras I find there is always a divide between people as certain ones work for some and not the other. The Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara was one of those that I read mixed reviews about. Some people were praising the mascara and saying great things while others said it was a waste of money and that it did nothing. Like I said everything works differently for people however when I received this mascara back in late August I was so excited to give it a try.

Now normally I'm not one to ever go for a mascara that isn't waterproof however this is an exception. Before trying this the only mascara I swore by was the Benefit They're Real and now after trying Better Than Sex I have not looked back. The only downfall I have for it is I wish they did a waterproof formula. Damn you watery eyes!

This mascara is jet black and adds volume and length to my non existing lashes. It doesn't crumble and I find it tends to stay on your lashes until you want to remove it. It dries quite quickly and just leaves me with the most insane lashes ever. Normally when applying a mascara I would use a different one for my bottom lashes as I never want them to look extreme but I can use this on both top and bottom lashes and they still end up looking amazing.

Along with the amazing formula can we just take a second to appreciate the packaging because I absolutely adore it! The bottle is also really heavy which surprised me as mascara bottles are normally quite lightweight. For the €23.00 price tag I think it's well worth the money and I can see myself constantly re-purchasing this for a very long time. They even brought out a mini version as a tree trinket for only €12.00 and I would be more than happy to see that on my tree Christmas morning. You can find the tree trinket from Debenhams here

Have you tried the Better Than Sex mascara?

  1. The only thing that puts me off this mascara is the name, but the formula sounds like something I would adore!

  2. It sounds amazing, but I honestly don't think I'm ready to spend that much money on mascara, I think Maybelline ones are as good! Though it would be a great present!
