New Products I've Added To My Makeup Collection
There's nothing I love more than a post all about products people have been buying and trying out. So this is exactly what this one is. Over the past few weeks I've been given some products from work and also treating myself to some products aswell and today is the day I talk about them all.

Starting with primers. I picked up a little sample of the new Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Radiance and I must say I am absolutely head over heels in love with it. For the past year Smashbox has been my go to for primers, I wouldn't use anything but theirs because they're that good and with the new launch they didn't dissapoint. I'm now just waiting for pay day to arrive so that I can buy the full size product because I need it in my collection. The primer is so moisturising on the skin and so light that you can't even feel it. What I love about it is the radiance it adds to your skin, giving it the most gorgeous healthy glow I've ever achieved without a highlighter!

Another primer I've gotten is the Revlon Photo Ready primer. Now I have wanted this for the longest time, literally back to a few years ago when I first saw it. I never got around to buying it because I never really go to the revlon stand when picking up makeup. However I've finally gotten to try it and I'm not overly impressed to be honest. It has a strange smell and as you rub it into your face it becomes tacky so the makeup has something to stick too. Now wearing this I will say it kept my foundation on all day but nothing too drastic happened. Like it didn't minimise my pores or blur imperfections like others do so because of that I was a little disappointed.

Foundation wise I've also added two into my collection. I absolutely adore the No7 Stay Perfect foundation so I was excited to try out the No7 Beautifully Matte foundation. Now I love a matte look, dewy looks and things just aren't my thing as much as I'd love them to be, powder all the way! So I thought it was about time I tried a matte foundation for the finish. Just like Stay Perfect this is a medium coverage but can be built and I must say I really like it. The only thing is while it is a matte finish I still go over it with a little powder so I know the stay time will last that little bit longer throughout the day. I probably won't stick with this one though and once it's gone I will more than likely go back to my Stay Perfect foundation.

I have previously tried the Seventeen Stay Time foundation and so was delighted to be given another to add to my collection. I honestly don't think this foundation gets the regoginition it deserves. Besides the price and being a brand that 90% of people will walk by in Boots the foundation is actually really nice. It's a medium coverage skin but it feels really light on the skin which I really like. While the shade range isn't the greatest I am the palest shade they have because of my snow white skin! Just thinking about how much I like this foundation makes me want to go look at their stand and see what else I'd like to try from the range!

I haven't got Benefit products in the longest time, at one point they were my absolute favourite beauty brand but then I just moved on and tried other things. However this month I added three of their products to my collection.
Starting with the Goof Proof Brow Pencil. I've always been a brow powder/pomade kind of girl, pencils just aren't my thing I just cant seem to get on with them. However I thought this one might change that, I got it in a medium brown shade and honestly I hate it. It has a red undertone to it which I was so not expecting from Benefit and I just feel like I can achieve better looking brows with powders/pomade than I can with this.
I also added the Gimme Brow to my collection aswell. I have heard/read and listened to people rave on about this product and how good it was so I finally bit the bullet and decided to give it a try for myself. YES. I absolutely adore this and use it to just finish off my brows and add a slight bit more definition. I now totally understand the hype and have been really enjoying using it.
Finally there was a offer on when you got two benefit products that you get a free Boi-ing Concealer in 01. I already have a mini version of this and to be honest it's not one of my most used concealers. I just don't like concealers in pans as I find they dry out way too quickly and don't blend as well as liquid ones. However I do use it to prime my eyelids so it's not a total waste I guess.

While in Primark the other day I came across their Brush Cleanser which I had again heard aloud of people praise and for the sake of €2.50 I decided to give it a whirl. This stuff is actually amazing. A simple spritz onto a tissue and a swirl of your brush, your brush is actually fully spotless. I actually couldn't quite believe it when I first tried it to be honest. This is such a handy thing to have when you need to quickly wash a brush. The only thing is the brush is left quite wet after the product s you cant exactly use it straight away.

I also came across a PS Pro Lipscrub reduced to €1 while in Primark and after running out of my Lush lip scrub I needed a new one so I popped this in my basket to give it a go. Now it's definitely no lush product but it does the job. It's horrible and oily with not a lot of sugar in it to actually scrub your lips and god forbid you actually taste it because it is vile. However until I get to a Lush store this will do me for now.

From Kylie Cosmetics (which I've had another 3 deliveries from since taking this photo..oops!) I got the Kylie Cosmetics Bronze palette as it was the only palette of hers I didn't own yet, and I mean go big or go home amiright!? No but seriously I did actually want this palette and I do love it. I haven't used it as much as the Burgundy palette but like i said I do really like it and I love the shades in it.

At the time I placed this order it was actually for the Smile Lipkit. All proceeds for this lip kit went to SmileTrain a charity that helps children with cleft lips and palettes. As soon as I heard about this cause I wanted to buy it straight away as when I was born I had a cleft palette so knowing money was going towards research and support I couldn't not buy one! The colour doesnt actually suit my skintone at all but like I said I more wanted to buy it just because of the good cause behind it.

Finally the last three products all from Smashbox.

Firstly I got a lipgloss in the shade orange light. I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses but the colour of this just sold me and it was way too pretty not to own.
I was also given a sample pot of their new Photo Finish Radiance Primer which spoiler alert I absolutely loved and have since bought the full sized product. There will be a whole post about that soon, so keep an eye out for that!

Finally I picked up one of their new eyeshadow palettes that they done in collaboration with Shay Mitchell. I picked up the 'ablaze' palette which is full of burgundy and orange shades and it is honestly the most gorgeous palette ever. I am so obsessed with it and everything about it. The front cover of it is a hologram so that keeps me amused while using the palette, also the shadows are divine, they're so creamy and pigmented it's crazy. But just like the primer thats a whole post to come.

Have you tried any of these products I've added to my collection?
