I feel as though I haven't wrote a life update post in the longest time. These are one of my absolute favourites so I thought what a better way than to start the week writing something I love writing. I used to do these posts as an Instagram update, however since I've committed to a "theme" it is a little harder to use photos to explain the week as the photos on Instagram have been planned a week in advance, shocker right!? However I still really like the fact of interperating my Instagram posts into these life ones so decided to do it a little differently this time around. If you're not following me on Instagram already you can find me here!

Blog Related Things:

I recently received a hair tool from Toni&Guy and I have been so in love with the results it gives my hair. The post is going to be up this week and I cannot wait to share it with you all. I have yet to style my hair with something else since receiving it. The waves and volume it gives my hair just has me in awe! They also last really well, I simply spray my hair with the Toni&Guy Casual Hairspray and they last through any weather, rain, hail or shine! I just cannot get enough of the style.

I also reached 1400 Bloglovin followers which I'm so grateful for! I'm sure I'm not the only one but when I see that someone has followed my blog it always makes me smile! The same with my blog posts, it always makes me smile when I see someone has taken time out of their day to comment on my latest blog post. So a huge thank you to all of you! <3

My current most popular posts are my How I Gained 400+ Instagram Followers In A Week and my Faking It As A Blogger || What I See vs What You See which I am quite proud of I must say. I also really enjoyed writing Faking It As A Blogger and I'm currently thinking of making it a little series here on Darling Jordan. So please let me know if theres anything you'd like me to cover or just simply know as the feedback I got from it was absolutely amazing.

Life Things:

I went for a job interview and I didn't mention it too much incase I jinxed myself. However I ended up being offered the job there and then and I am so over the moon with it! I start in April and I cannot wait! I've worked for the company before but just in a different location, so theres a hint for all you nosey ones ;)

My little brother turned 13 at the weekend and it's honestly making me feel so old, I mean the 9 year difference already makes me feel old but I feel like it was only yesterday when he was turning 10! I spent the day with him and we really enjoyed it! So much so that by the time 11 o clock came around we were so ready to go asleep. Of course Aurora and Sheldon got him cards and gifts, and no that handwriting in their cards wasn't just me writing with my left hand...I swear that's just how they write!

Then on Sunday it was Mothers Day, can we talk about how unfair that was on me!? I am officially broke. Anyways I got my Mum some homeware bits and pieces including some picture frames and candles. I also gave her the Cheerz Mothers Day Box & Magnets and she was so excited about them. I must say I am still so impressed with the quality of the prints and magnets! Everything is now hung up and she just won't stop talking about them, which is definitely a good thing! Also the cards featured in the post are the actual cards I got for my Mum and how adorable are they!?

Loving Lately:

Makeup wise I've been really enjoying the Smashbox HD primer. This honestly keeps my makeup in place for a good 10 hours! I put makeup on without it the other day just to see does it make a difference and after about 4 hours my foundation was disappearing and I definitely needed to touch up. I always spend more money on primers than I do other products but I truly believe that you get what you pay for.

I broke my lent this year, I don't know why but I just felt really crap one day and bought every easter chocolate possible. It's fine though right? I've been giving up sweets and chocolate for lent for the last 8 or so years so 1 year off won't harm me. I picked up a bag of Golden Eggs after seeing so many people on Twitter rave on about them and I have too agree, they are pretty darn delicious! I'm going to definitely stock up on some more bags before they leave, you know just incase!

I've been obsessed with the Sex and the City movies lately, I've watched both on repeat! Myself and my Mum even spent Mothers Day watching them because they are some of our favourite movies. I just think they are ideal if you want to have a girly day/night in.

What have you been up too lately?
