Updated What's In My Makeup Bag ♡

One of my favourite posts to read is the contents of somebodys makeup bags or handbags or travel bags, basically anything that will allow me to be nosey into another persons life?! So with that in mind I thought, surely I can't be the only one who feels this way right...right? So I decided to do an updated version of what's in my everyday makeup bag. I did do this a while back and done a little series which included my everyday, going out and no makeup-makeup, makeup bags...how many times can I say makeup in a sentence? If you do want to find them posts and give them a read (warning: bad quality photos) you can do so here.

Looking back on what was in my makeup bag back then, surprisingly a good few items have changed.

Primer wise will always stay the same using my trusty Porefessional by Benefit. I'm currently using a travel sized one because my two full sized tubes have ran out sadly, so I will definitely have to pick up a new one as soon as I can.
Foundation I have been loving is all the way back to my holy grail foundation, the Rimmel Match Perfection which I use in shade 101 classic ivory. I just cannot seem to get on with any other foundations as I do with this one. I can feel this running out very soon and I do want to try out the Bourjois one so I might pick that one up to see do I like it as much.
Collection Lasting Perfection in shade 2 is always in my makeup bag, again it's another product that I will never not have with me. It's cheap and absolutely amazing at it's job. I would say definitely give this a try if you are in the market for a new concealer.
Rimmel Stay Matte powder is another item that I normally have close by. Again it does it's job well and is very affordable. I also like the fact that it comes in different shades however I'm not very adventurous and always stick with transparent.

For my brows, I've started using a product that is recently new to me. The Tutu Colour My Brows* brow mascara has honestly become my new favourite brow product. I was never one for the hype of brow mascaras because I didn't like how they felt but this one is just amazing and the colour match is so on point! I did a whole post about this which you can find here if you want to know more.
To highlight under my brow bone I use the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk which is such a great product, it just glides on the skin so smoothly and you can sheer it out as much as you want or can layer it for more definition. I also sometimes use this as an eye base as it can really help your eye shadows pop.
For my eye primer I'm currently using Focus & Fix by Makeup Revolution. I do like this product but I will admit that I don't adore it. I'm currently just using it to use it up but so far personally I don't think anything beats the Urban Decay primer potion.
My current favourite eyeshadow palette by Collection is just an absolute dream! Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette is such a gorgeous palette and I have been loving using it since getting it. I just find it great for an everyday neutral smokey eye look, and the shadows are just such great quality! I have a post all about the three palettes from the range which you can find here.
My love for gel liner has still not faded, although I do need to get a new one as this is starting to dry out. Maybelline Lasting Drama 24hr Gel Liner is my holy grail of all eyeliners. Myself and liquid liners have never gotten along so gel liners all the way!
Covergirl Lash Perfection mascara is another new item that has been added to my collection and makeup bag. When I found this in Tk Maxx I swear I jumped around with excitement. I adore how this makes my lashes look and it doesn't clump which is such a bonus. Also the way Covergirl package their mascaras is amazing and I swear all brands should do it!

I've stopped contouring for awhile now and have just been using a bronzer to give my pale skin some colour. I've raved about the Sleek Bronze Block in light before and I will continue to do so because it honestly is one of my favourite bronzers. The colours it contains mixed together just give you the most gorgeous bronzed glow.
NYX HD Concealer in shade 01 Porcelain is the greatest product I've ever purchased to try. It gives the most amazing coverage, is long lasting and works as an amazing highlight. I've done a post all about it which you can find here if you'd like to read more about my thoughts on it.
Finally onto lip products, I've gotten back into wearing a red lip and I swear these two products together are just gorgeous. Makeup Studio Lipliner in red is actually the only red lipliner I own (note to self, buy more red lipliners) however it works perfectly and is really soft allowing it to just glide onto your lips.
Wet n Wild Lipstick in shade '911D Stoplight Red' is my absolute favourite red lipstick at the moment. It's a berry red more so than a classic red and I swear I am so in love with the colour on. It also has decent staying power and leaves a little stain. I also did a post on this which you can find here if you'd like to see what it looks like on!

I hope you enjoyed having a nosey at what's currently in my makeup bag!

  2. The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is constantly in my makeup bag, I love it! Although I'm not sure if it's me and my clumsiness but mine always break, like the packaging, it is kind of annoying, but they're so cheap I'm coping for now. I've never tried the Porefessional but I see it everywhere so I think I may have to, great photo's, mine never turn out like this haha x
